Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461)<br />

Annulet issue, Groat, London, mm. cross II, no fleur on<br />

breast, reads ANGL’, annulets in two quarters, 3.77g/2h<br />

(Whitton 8; N 1423; S 1835). Nearly very fine £80-100<br />

Annulet issue, Groat, Calais, mm. cross II, no fleur on<br />

breast, reads ANGL’, late F, annulets in two quarters, broken<br />

Es, 3.76g/1h (Whitton 12/10; N 1427; S 1836). Nearly very<br />

fine, a rare variety £90-120<br />

Rosette-Mascle issue, Groat, Calais, mm. crosses II/V,<br />

annulets by neck, no fleur on breast, reads ANGL’, rosette<br />
