The H of COMMONWEALTH double-struck to form two Hs ligate, on an irregular flan, good fine, an interesting mis-strike £150-250 Shilling, 1656, mm. sun on obv. only, no stop after COMMONWEALTH, second M over F, OF divided by stop, 5.79g/1h (cf. ESC 995C; N 2724; S 3217). Very fine, an apparently unrecorded variety £350-450 Shilling, 1658, mm. anchor on obv. only, no stop after THE, 5.85g/10h (ESC –; N 2725; S 3218). Fine or better, unrecorded £500-600 Shilling, 1660, mm. anchor on obv. only, 5.97g/4h (ESC 1001; N 2725; S 3218).
