Roettiers, c. 1828, laureate youthful bust left, IACOBUS VIII DEI<br />
GRATIA, rev. cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, edge plain,<br />
7.03g/6h (B 2, fig. 1095; S 5725). Some evidence of rust<br />
marks on obverse die, otherwise good extremely fine, dark<br />
tone, rare £1,200-1,500<br />
Pattern Crown, 1716, in silver, by M. Young from dies by N.<br />
Roettiers, c. 1828, laureate bust right, IACOBUS VIII DEI GRATIA,<br />
rev. crowned arms, R on foot of harp, edge plain, 26.58g/6h<br />
(B 1; S 5731). Usual light rust marks, otherwise good<br />
extremely fine <strong>and</strong> toned, rare £1,000-1,200<br />
