Dr. Jane Brady
We all lead very
busy lifestyles. Work.
Recreation. Relaxation.
Communication is a component
for even the most
sedentary of lifestyles.
Adequate listening is critical
factor for everyone, no
matter what your individual
listening environment is.
For instance, understanding
family in a one on one situation
might encompass
your entire listening needs
profile. Maybe you are a
teacher who works in a
small classroom or possibly
you lecture in a large hall
and have difficulty hearing
your soft spoken students.
Perhaps you primarily communicate
in the workplace
via telephone or speakerphone.
Or you may spend
a great deal of time in meetings
necessitating distance
listening. Whatever your
situation, listening is a critical
component to daily life.
At Horizon Audiology,
determining those listening
needs is a critical component
in assisting the patient
◆ ◆ Solutions For Hearing Loss
What’s New On The Horizon
on the road to better
hearing. Once the hearing
test is completed, your
audiologist will carefully
and expertly review the
results. Proper and appropriate
audiologic needs as
well as recommendations
can then be determined.
Hearing aids, more commonly
known as personal
listening assistants, are not
the only solution to
improving one’s hearing.
There are solutions for
improving hearing that do
not always require amplification
including referral to
your physician if medically
indicated, assistive listening
devices, and/ or computerized
listening programs.
The staff of Horizon
Audiology prides itself on
the individualized attention
we give to each patient. No
hearing problem is too trivial.
So, if you or a loved one
suffer from hearing loss,
please contact our office.
We look forward to showing
you what’s new on the
hearing horizon.
