Power-On Built-In Test Solution<br />

<strong>Kontron</strong> PBIT software is an extensible framework for Power On<br />

Built In Test of SBCs. Its execution occurs early in the boot process.<br />

PBIT is a powerful tool to help fast and accurate diagnostic,<br />

avoiding to waste precious time in deep investigations of the<br />

application code when a failure is showing up in a system.<br />

PBIT has been designed to be executed as fast as possible and<br />

be an integral part of the operational system start sequence<br />

(automatic mode).<br />

PBIT also has a user interface that can be called up to access an<br />

interactive test mode. A configurable tests list allows adding and<br />

removing specific feature test. This list is tuned by the user to<br />

reduce the test time; only the features used for a given application<br />
