to make this a success. We must accelerate the pace. We are in a make it or break it
phase. Time to look at the bigger picture and focus on key deliverables. We simply
cannot afford to fail. This Planet is our most important common denominator.
We need a steps change on the SDGs, IFSD, sharing experiences and knowledge to
deliver, action oriented outcomes on cities, energy, women, empowerment, oceans,
etc, improve means of implementations, reaffirm past commitments, streamline
financing tools and capacity building action, importance of engagement of CSO and
private sector. Governments cannot do it alone. Our commitments define who we
are. They are symbols of our integrity. That is why at the end we will announce
ambitious and historic outcomes. Let us deliver a vision, an action framework that
honours all people and our Planet, our most profound common denominator’.
