- Major Groups and other Stakeholder Workshops - In the lead-up to the<br />
Rio+20 conference, UNDESA in cooperation with Stakeholder Forum will be<br />
hosting a series of capacity building workshops for Major Groups and other<br />
stakeholders that will help participants prepare for the work they will be<br />
engaging in at the Conference. If you are interested in attending any of these<br />
workshops, we kindly ask that you pre-register to confirm your anticipated<br />
attendance, as capacity for these workshops is very limited.<br />
- Social media - Modern communication technologies also allows you to<br />
support the Conference from a far. While not everyone is able to attend and<br />
participate in Rio+20 live in person, social media sites allow for remote<br />

Side events<br />
Side events will take place during the whole conference, several of which <strong>nrg4SD</strong> will<br />
participate directly. For information on <strong>nrg4SD</strong> at side events please refer to the flyer<br />

Sustainable Development Dialogues<br />
The Government of Brazil is convening a Sustainable Development Dialogue series<br />
with the aim of bringing together civil society, public and private sectors, the scientific<br />
community and academia to contribute ideas and suggestions on sustainable<br />
development. Conclusions and recommendations from the Dialogues will be<br />
conveyed directly to the heads of State and Government gathering in Rio June 20-<br />
22. These dialogues which have already started online will culminate in a live event<br />
in Rio from 16 – 19 June prior to the UN Conference and take place in RioCentro.<br />
