REQUIREMENTS
The University accepts the following tests of English language:
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Academic Test
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
The Pearson Test of English (Academic).
Other evidence of proficiency in English may be accepted
in individual cases.
26 ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Students without the required level of English will need to satisfactorily
complete an intensive program of English language before being admitted
to the University of Adelaide. The University can arrange an appropriate
English language program (the Academic English (PEP Pathway) or
AEPEP in Adelaide at the English Language Centre (see page xx).
The AEPEP provides an alternative entry pathway for prospective
students who have received offers to the University of Adelaide
conditional upon English proficiency. On successful completion of the
AEPEP at the required standard, students are granted direct entry into
the majority of programs at the University.
