AUGUST MEMBERSHIP REPORT<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>Sacramento</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> <strong>Region</strong> of the Porsche Club of America has 577 regular members, 472 affiliate & Family members and 7 dual members<br />
for a total of 1,049.<br />
If you have been reading the board minutes you noticed that SVR has gone back to a one year new members recognition. Our new members<br />
group chairs Dan Rowland and Lee Deter have scheduled 4 new members gatherings this year. 2 will be focused on our monthly breakfast<br />
meetings and one will be a social and the other will be a tour open to all members with focus on new members.<br />
Since we use email for most of our communications it is necessary for all of us to keep our email current with SVR and PCA. So please go to<br />
pca.org and login to your membership record and make any updates as needed. Also even though we get the information from PCA monthly<br />
you can send the same information to membership@svr.pca.org and I will update our data base so you will continue to stay connected. By<br />
now each of you should have received the new SVR membership directory in the mail. Please contact me if you did not receive your copy.<br />

We’ll take a ‘sideways’ tour at the Jacobson’s garage, where Burgundian wines are the theme this year,<br />
as we explore the varietals of the chardonnay and pinot noir from both France and North America. Even<br />
one of their relatives, Cru Beaujolais (not a French fashion designer), will be making an appearance.<br />
Miles and Jack (see the movie) would like to join us for the festivities, but the Saab is still in the shop and<br />
they were last seen headed in a rented mini-van to other states where pinot noir is grown.<br />
