Solutions<br />
The major problem is shortage <strong>of</strong> water. As agriculture is the most common means <strong>of</strong><br />
livelihood, water plays a very important role in the day to day activities <strong>of</strong> the people.<br />
The problems arising out <strong>of</strong> water constraints can be mitigated to a certain extent by taking<br />
measures to rejuvenate the dying water sources through plantation and programmes like<br />
Dhara Vikas.<br />
Also proper and equitable distribution <strong>of</strong> the available water through canals can be taken up.<br />
Water harvesting tanks can be constructed at places to facilitate the constant supply <strong>of</strong> water<br />
during the time <strong>of</strong> crisis.<br />
