Chapter 3: Farm production systems<br />

Village Development Action Plan – TURUK RAMABUNG<br />

The main farm production systems <strong>of</strong> Khet (maize-paddy), Sukha bari (maize, ginger, pulses<br />

etc), Suntola bagan (orange, etc), Alainchi bari (cardamom, trees), Bans ghari and jungle<br />

(bamboo, trees), Kothe bari (Kitchen garden), Modern farming techniques (Floriculture,<br />

Greenhouse, etc…) have been detailed below in this Chapter. Others like Pakha bari, Siru<br />

bari, Bhasmey (Naya bari) etc may be included if there is a need.<br />
