Rose House Museum Celebrates 40 th Anniversary, Saturday, September 15, 2007<br />
<strong>The</strong> Friends of Rose House Museum organized the event and<br />
prepared the food. <strong>The</strong> German Dinner is a fundraiser for the<br />
museum, accommodating around 100 people each year (50 per<br />
setting.) <strong>The</strong> Rose House Museum is converted to an elegant<br />
dining facility for one night of the year! Those with German roots<br />
or an appreciation of German culture/cuisine attend—it’s a sold<br />
out event every year. <strong>The</strong> funds are used toward the<br />
maintenance, upkeep, and promotion of Rose House Museum.<br />
Rose House Museum gratefully accepts donations. <strong>The</strong><br />
museum does have a collections policy that limits the type of<br />
artifacts coming into the collection. It must be related to the Rose<br />
Family, North Marysburgh Township or Hessian/Loyalist heritage.<br />
Of course, we gratefully accept monetary donations as well. <strong>The</strong><br />
Corporation of Prince Edward County can grant tax receipts on<br />
our behalf to donors. Thank you for your continued interest in the<br />
