Sharon Newcomb, forty-five years in dogs, breeder, owner handler,
professional handler, trainer (conformation, obedience and one
field trial lab), AKC judge of 25 years. Mrs. Newcomb has bred or
owned: Weimaraner, Min Poodles, Shetland Sheepdogs,
Pomeranians, Pekingese, German Shepherds, Papillons, Anatolian
Shepherds, Pointers,Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dachshunds,
Chihuahuas and Doberman Pinschers. He has had Best in Shows
on Pomeranians, Papillons, Chihuahuas, Pointers, Shetland
Sheepdogs and German Shepherds. She has given seminars on
German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, Papillons and Anatolian Shepherds.
CONFORMATION CLASSES: All regular classes are offered, plus Veterans
(competitive and divided by sex), Brace, Stud Dog and Get, and Dam and Progeny.
Open Class will be divided by ears: Drop or Erect. Parade of Champions and Titleholders
is offered.
PAPILLON CANADA offers rosettes and suitable prizes for Best in Specialty, Best of
Opposite Sex in Specialty, Best of Winners, Winners Male, Winners Female, Reserve
Winners Male and Reserve Winners Female, Best Veteran in Specialty (from the Veteran
class), Best Puppy in Specialty, Best Bred by Exhibitor in Specialty (from the Bred by
Exhibitor Class), Best Drop Ear (from the Drop Ear Open Class), Best Sire and Get,
Best Brood Bitch and Progeny, Best Brace in Specialty, Award of Merit (at the judges
discretion) and First to Fourth in each class. All prizes must be claimed at the show.
Fees: Regular Classes**, Veteran: $30.;**Junior Puppy $25.
Non-Regular: Brace, Stud, Brood Bitch, $15. (must be entered in a regular class)
Exhibition Only $15. Sweepstakes $15. Catalogue $8. Listing Fee $9.30 Parade $15.

Shirra Kenworthy in memory of her mother, BETTY KENWORTHY,(Kenrennie
Papillons).
BEST OF WINNERS The Nymphenberg Trophy, donated by Papillon Canada in
memory of J HARVEY SMITH (Nymphenberg Papillons.)
BEST PUPPY IN SPECIALTY The Maringay Trophy, donated by Moira Ure and
Elizabeth Fowler in memory of their mother GLADYS FOWLER (Maringay Papillons).
BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR IN SPECIALTY (for dogs competiting from the Bred
by Exhibitor classes)--the Truluv Trophy, donated by Kay Reid and Nancy Pinke.
BEST DROP EAR (Phalene) IN SPECIALTY (for dogs competing in the Open Drop
Ear classes)--The Annacott/Animato Trophy, donated by Louann Hansen and
