MR EDWARD DWELLY, a genealogist, who<br />

t his home at Fleet, Hampshire, aged 74.<br />

Formerly a bank clerk in London, he comaled,<br />

printed, and published, single-handed,<br />

Gaelic dictionary of over 1000 pages and<br />

;ith 675 illustrations. For this he was awarded<br />

Civil List pension.<br />

His books were widely read by genealogists<br />

nd excited widespread interest in America.<br />

istories. was a member of many societies<br />

oth at home and abroad interested in<br />
