Management framework of a NETWORK<br />
o Management in and mainly by the South<br />
• Coordination through a ‘coordinating’ or ‘Hub’ university (CTU-UCLV-<br />
ESPOL)<br />
o At least 3 other involved partner universities in the country<br />
o Flemish coordinator and North team of Network Advisors<br />
o Annual Budget : 250.000 EUR/year<br />
• Administrative overhead – management of the programme at level of the<br />
facilitator university<br />
• At least 50% of budget for actions at level of other universities<br />
o Planning phase: 6 years<br />
• Midterm-assessment after 3 years<br />
• Preparatory year (2012) – phase in / (pre-)formulation<br />
• Renewable depending on the evaluation<br />
university cooperation for development sharing minds, changing lives
