along when they visited the Sacred Heart Church <strong>in</strong> Paris, France. Sam AlNajjar proposed to<br />

Daguanno and Wisam proposed to Nozomi Matsumura at the site.<br />

Gary and Diane Peppier of Grosse Po<strong>in</strong>te Farms and their children, Mark, Stacey and Greg, read<br />

Academy readers<br />

Three generations of Gilbert women attended a reunion at the<br />

Air Force Academy <strong>in</strong> Colorado Spr<strong>in</strong>gs, Colo, and took the<br />

Grosse Po<strong>in</strong>te News with them. Matriarch Jean Gilbert of the<br />

City of Grosse Po<strong>in</strong>te is a veteran who served <strong>in</strong> the Air Force Air<br />

Transport dur<strong>in</strong>g World War n. With her are daughters, Kathryn<br />

Gilbert, Charlene Gilbert, Suzanne Hale and granddaughter,<br />

Jordan Kyle.
