6. Set the property Domain (on the ManagerId item) to EmployeesInDept.<br />

7. Generate and run the application again. The dropdown list for ManagerId now<br />

contains only employees of the selected department.<br />

You can use Query Bind Parameters for both Groups and Dynamic Domains. Using EL,<br />

you can bind to any value available on the request or the session. <strong>JHeadstart</strong> will<br />

automatically re-query when the value of a bind parameter has changed.<br />

7.1.3. <strong>JHeadstart</strong> Runtime Implementation of Query Bind Parameters<br />

When you specify query bind parameters for a group in the Application Definition,<br />

<strong>JHeadstart</strong> generates a QueryBindParams managed bean in the group faces-config. If<br />

you specify query bind parameters for a dynamic domain in the Application Definition,<br />

<strong>JHeadstart</strong> generates such a managed bean in the domains faces-config. Here is an<br />
