One topic, also discussed in this white paper, provides additional functionality in<br />

combination with <strong>JHeadstart</strong>: defining List Validators. ADF BC has the possibility to add<br />

Validators to Entity Objects. Using the List Validator, you can check for allowable values<br />

in the Model layer.<br />

In this example we use a List Validator to check the allowable values for the salary<br />

column.<br />

1. Edit the Entity Object and go to the Validation Node. Select the attribute you<br />

want the Validator for and press New:<br />
