Tropical Atmosphere – Culinary Delights
In the Tropic House at Frutigen, you can experience a varied exhibition covering the origins of mountain
water and the use of its warmth. Instead of cooling artificially, mountain water is used to grow exotic fruits
and to rear warm water fish. Here you will find the first sturgeon breeding and caviar production facility
in Switzerland. In addition, the BKW interactive energy park demonstrates the use of all types of renewable
energy. After a walk through the sturgeon breeding area and the tropical plantation, enjoy the delicacies
of the Tropic House in our restaurants and bar. The restaurant provides an ideal atmosphere for private
or company events. The restaurant (no entrance fee) is also open in the evening.
