How to get to the congress venue

There are five “subtes” lines (abbreviated name for
subterraneo/subway). Subway lines are connected with
the main avenues, railway and bus stations. Each ticket
may be used on all the subway lines.

Taxis can be called by phone or hailed directly in the street.
Radio taxis are considered the best option. Taxis can be
easily recognized by their colours, black and yellow, and a
red light on the taximeter indicates that they are available.
The main subway line from the hotel area to La Rural
Convention & Exhibition Centre is the “Subte Linea D”
with “Plaza Italia” as the stop. Delegates can buy discounted
metro tickets (MONEDERO) at the registration area.
