Arlene G. Mornik, 81, of Phoenix, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, in Phoenix.
Born Sept. 26, 1916, in Westbrook, she was the daughter of Gustaf and Minnie Goodmanson Rupp.
She lived on farms with her family in the Slayton area before they moved to Hadley where they operated a
restaurant. She moved to Minneapolis and graduated from the University of Minnesota Pharmacy School. She
worked as a pharmacist in Minneapolis for a few years. She then moved to Phoenix in the mid-1950s and owned
and operated her own pharmacy until retiring
Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn Alt, Phoenix; and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 P.M. today at Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton.
The grave side service will be 3 P.M. today at Slayton Cemetery with the Rev. Dave Mesner officiating.
