MESA, Ariz. -- Longtime area resident Nell Raymond Linscheid, 84, of Mankato, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999,
at Las Flores nursing Home, Mesa, Ariz. Services are 2 P.M. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato,
the Rev. George Thronson officiating. Burial is in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 5 P.M.
Sunday at Woodland Hills Funeral Home, Mankato, and continues one hour before services Monday at the
church.
Mr. Linscheid was born Oct. 18, 1915, to Jacob and Ethel (Weast) Linscheid at Darfur. He married Ruth Johnson
June 23, 1937, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Darfur. They farmed in the West Sveadahl area until they moved
to St. James, where he was employed at the bottling company. In 1966, they moved to Mankato. He was a truck
driver with Harold Hiniker Company and was employed in the maintenance department of American Bank until
his retirement. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato.
His wife; one son and his wife, Allan and Terri of Mesa; and nieces and nephews survive Mr. Linscheid. One
brother preceded him in death.
