Francis "Frank" L. March, 73, of Mesa, died Monday, March 10, 1997, in Mesa.
Born Oct. 5,1923, in Slayton, he was the son of Richard and Marie March. He married Bette Keller June 19,
1949, in Slayton.
He graduated from Slayton High School and entered the U.S. Army in 1943, serving during World War II in the
European Theater After his discharge in 1945, he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service office in Slayton, ,first
as a clerk, then as a rural mail carrier. After marriage, they lived in Slayton until 1978, when he retired and they
moved to Mesa. He was a member of American Legion, Masonic Lodge and the Fountain of the Sun Country
Club.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Melissa (Bob) Sandeen, Eagan, and Jennifer (Keith) Rediske, St. Croix
Falls, Wis.; two brothers, John March and Curtis March; two sisters, Cara Mae Giinde and Cleo Hedger; and two
grandchildren.
The grave side service will be 11:30 A.M. Saturday in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Slayton, with the Rev.
Rollin Haynes officiating.
Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, is in charge of arrangements.
