Greg Stewart (MHK ´05)
is the Manager of the Athletics
and Recreation Department,
Wilfrid Laurier University in
Brantford. Greg and Mary Ann
Ceponis were married in July
2006, and welcomed their
daughter, Abbey, in February
2010. In his spare time,
Greg participates locally in
soccer, softball and volleyball
leagues, and is an avid
golfer. Greg is President of
the Brantford Co-Ed Volleyball
team, and Head Coach for the
Brantford Under 21 Women’s
Soccer team.
Dean Tapak (BHK ´05) is
“Your In-Home Chiropractor”,
bringing chiropractic services
to your home or office. Dean
graduated from the Canadian
Chiropractic College in Toronto
in 2009. Dean has volunteered
chiropractic treatment
at Street Health, a program
of the Windsor-Essex Community
Health Centre that
provides care for homeless
and low income individuals
without health benefits.
Dean stated he was inspired
by his experience growing up
in Windsor and working at the
YMCA, and that it is a privilege
to assist individuals living
in discomfort with limited
resources.
Trevor Dinham (BHK
´06) and Shannon Dinham
welcomed Brooklyn on July
24, 2011 in Windsor. Trevor
is an Alumni Officer (Communications
& Marketing),
Alumni Affairs, University of
Windsor.
Tom Hazell (MHK ´06)
graduated with a doctorate in
Kinesiology from the University
of Western Ontario, London,
Ontario in 2010. Tom is
currently a Postdoctoral Fellow
in Dietetics and Human
Nutrition at McGill University.
Tom acknowledged Dr. Kenji
Kenno for his continued guidance
and support.
Leah (Peck) Hooft (BHK
´06) completed her Bachelor
of Education, University of
Windsor in 2008. Leah married
Ryan in 2009 and they
reside in Tecumseh. Leah is
currently teaching 4th year
at École Élémentaire Pavillon
des Jeunes, Belle River.
Sarah Simison (BHK ´06)
is a chiropractor at the Peak
Health and Wellness Centre,
Brooklin, Ontario.
Diane valerio (BHK ´06)
graduated from the Canadian
Chiropractic College, Toronto
in 2011. Dr. Valerio welcomes
new patients at Walls
Chiropractic, Windsor.
Lindsay Armstrong
(BHK ´07) graduated with
her Masters of Science, Physician
Assistant Studies
from Wayne State University,
Detroit, Michigan in 2011.
Lindsay has accepted a position
as a Surgical Physician’s
Assistant, Mount Sinai Grace
Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.
Mark Ianni (BHK ´07)
graduated from the University
of Western Ontario with
a Masters of Physical Therapy
in 2011. Mark also achieved
his Medical Acupuncture Certificate
from McMaster University
in 2011. Mark joined
LifeMark Physiotherapy (Centric
Health) in January 2012,
Tecumseh.

British Columbia. Nikki is the

presently reside in Kelowna,
British Columbia. Congratulations

Kevin Savard (BHK ´07)
is a teacher with the Ottawa
Carleton District School
Board, Ottawa.
Lynette Singh-Peters
(MHK ´07) in addition to
raising three little girls (Abigail,
6; Elle, 4; and Hailey,
2) and improving her French
fluency, Lynette has started
a charity, Sugar for Minds,
where she has been raising
funds to purchase educational
books, games and toys
for rural schools in Guyana,
South America. She is busy
baking and raising money by
selling her cakes and other
baked goods, and working
Meghann with the
Larry O’Brien Trophy at
the American Airlines
Center, when the Dallas
Mavericks won the NBA
Championships vs. the
Miami Heat in June 2011.
Meghann Schlaff (MHK ´08) accepted the Event Coordinator
position at the American Airlines Center in Dallas,
Texas, February 2010. The Center was voted one of the Top
Ten Arenas in the World in 2010, and is home to the Dallas
Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Vigilantes, and hosts a variety
of third party events. Meghann was fortunate to be able to
be a part of the 2011 NBA Finals when the Mavericks won the
World Championship!
In June 2011, Meghann graduated from Venue Management
School (International Association of Venue Management
at Oglebay). Meghann and daughter, Madison, now 10 years
old, have adjusted well to Texas and the extreme heat.
