What do you think is the single most important factor that is currently causing the displays industry to
change? The desire for even more realistic and user-friendly viewing experience is one of the key factors driving
the display industry for change. Aware of this demand, along with a passion for innovation, AU Optronics has
worked continuously to develop more advanced 3D technologies. From AUO’s proprietary 3D technology that
simply required the audience to put on a pair of lightweight pattern retarder glasses, AUO has made even further
strides in the development of glasses-free 3D technology. Enhancements were made in the AUO-patented display
architecture and image rendering algorithm to realize high-resolution and deadzone-free glasses-free 3D solutions.
Viewers are presented with the most genuine 3D images that are vivid and lifelike to the eyes.
