OPENING EVENTS FOR
WHOLE COMMUNITY
To mark the opening of our wonderful £32 million new
building we are opening our doors to the whole community
everyday for 3 weeks.
You are all warmly invited to a tour of the school and a presentation
by Peter Campling and we are keen to welcome
you whatever your interest in the school, whether as a parent
with a child in Year 6, a current parent or simply someone
who lives locally. There is no need to book, but please
do try to arrive promptly on the day you choose:
In school hour dates are:
Every Weekday from Monday 24th September to Wednesday
10th October 9:15am
Also available for those who cannot attend during schools
hours:
Saturday 6th October 10:30am
Tuesday 9th October 6:00pm
The picture here is of the flyer that is going out to the community
to the nearest 50, 000 households, and we hope to
see as many of you as possible at these exciting events!
YEAR 11 BOAT
PARTY
Once the exams were over and the final assembly was held it
was time once again for the annual boat party to celebrate the
end of Year 11 and GCSE exams. This was a huge success thanks
to the hard work of Ms Samms, the pastoral leader. Students
(and staff!) looked great and a really good time was had by all
who attended. What a great send off, and a wonderful way to
say goodbye to those
who will be leaving
us. Of course this year
is the first year that
students will be able
to stay on at Deptford
Green by joining our
sixth form.
