Here the compression adjuster is linked to the damper
via a hose for problem- free compression setting. The
damper can also be used on motorcycles where
mounting space is restricted. Spring pre- load is set via
the hydraulic handwheel which is connected to the
damper through a hose for better mounting.

Öhlins' shock absorbers
are the best that you can fit to your motorbike's chassis.
We have tested many different shock absorber systems
and have come to the conclusion that Öhlins' shock
absorbers are the first choice. Since then all our
motorcycles have been fitted with these shock
absorbers. This refit has improved the chassis
considerably (when front and rear match). All Öhlins'

have found that the weak point of many original wheels
is the rims.
