Tank guard R 1150 GS Adventure<br />

When the R1150GS Adventure is used <strong>as</strong> it w<strong>as</strong><br />

designed, minor bumps or falls can leave unsightly<br />

scrapes on the extended lobes of the steel tank. Textured<br />

Paralever guard<br />

R 850/1100/1150 GS<br />

The paralever rod and the linkage on the rear wheel are<br />

very likely to be damaged by stones being thrown up<br />

from the ground. When riding off-road, these are parts<br />

that are located at a very low position and thus often<br />

touch the ground. The new paralever guard from<br />

<strong>Touratech</strong> provides effective protection for this piece of<br />

equipment. Can be fitted e<strong>as</strong>ily with no tools.<br />

Adjustable gear lever<br />

R 850 GS/1100 GS<br />

The adjustable gear lever is used to its best advantage<br />

with the adjustable foot rest or simply if the position of<br />

the original gear lever is not suitable.With this gear lever<br />

too the front lever h<strong>as</strong> a spring to enable it to fold thus<br />

reducing damage should you fall off.In addition, the<br />

forces acting on the gear lever will be transferred less<br />

strongly to the selector shaft. Should the folding gear<br />

lever get a little bent out of shape it can be straightened<br />

again very e<strong>as</strong>ily.<br />
