Combat stress . . .
No longer personal battle
Nellis AFB Public Affairs
5/21/2008 - NELLIS AIR FORCE
BASE, Nev. -- As today’s Air Force
sees Airmen constantly deploying
to meet wartime taskings, it sees
friends lost, loved ones distanced,
and tolls taken on mental and emotional
health. Fortunately, today’s
Air Force also sees avenues to combat
the stresses placed on personnel and
families.
May marks Mental Health Month,
and military leaders are continually
making strides to provide competent
health coverage and encourage personnel
to seek any help they need.
In a speech to Soldiers at Fort
Bliss, Texas on May 1, Secretary of
Defense Robert M. Gates recognized
the importance of getting professional
help, without the stigma.
Secretary Gates said.
Therefore, he said a number of
screening procedures have been put
in place to try to make sure no one
slips through the cracks. The Department
of Defense is also working to
get rid of the stigma associated with
seeking professional help for Post-
Traumatic Stress Disorder, starting
with a new policy that won’t prevent
anyone from gaining security clearances
due to mental-health treatment
for PTSD.
According to Secretary Gates, the
DoD’s goal is to encourage Soldiers,
Sailors, Marines and Airmen who
encounter these problems to seek
help.
“Seeking mental-health care due to
post-traumatic stress will no longer
be seen as an obstacle to getting a
Why I bought the new airman battle uniform
Commentary by Col. L.B. Mobley
90th Maintenance Group commander
F.E. WARREN AIR FORCE BASE,
Wyo. (AFPN) — I recently purchased
and started wearing the new airman
battle uniform. You may be thinking,
“So. Why is that such a big deal? We all
have to get it sooner or later, right?”
Well, in my case, I don’t. I retire
this summer after more than 25 years
of service.
So, why did I buy the new uniform?
Regardless of the time I have left in, I
want to be part of our new Air Force:
An Air Force that not only continues to
proudly stand as the sword and shield
of our nation’s strategic deterrence, but
also the new expeditionary Air Force
that has our young men and women
routinely deploying into harm’s way
throughout the world.
I recently had the honor and privilege
of participating in a ceremony
to present a Bronze Star to Tech. Sgt.
Marshall McBride, an ICBM maintenance
technician. As I prepared for
the ceremony, I realized that I knew
very little about the medal. So I did my
homework.
The Bronze Star was conceived in
1943 by Army Col. “Red” Reeder to create
a “ground medal” and only award
it to infantrymen. Initially, Colonel
Reeder had a hard time getting anyone
to support his concept. It wasn’t until
the proposal was seen by Army Gen.
George C. Marshall, the Army chief of
staff, that Colonel Reeder finally found
his support.
General Marshall told his staff,
“It’s a medal for those that suffer the
heaviest losses and endure the greatest
hardships.”
As I researched the history, award
criteria, and the specifics of Sergeant
McBride’s medal, I learned that this
was the first time that someone with an
ICBM maintenance Air Force specialty
code had earned it.
Sergeant McBride earned his Bronze
Star while serving a one-year tour as
an interrogator in Iraq. His citation
states how the information he provided
directly saved the lives of countless
Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines
serving overseas.
Reading his citation made me wonder
how many Airmen in other AFSCs
have earned this level of recognition.
Just think, one day you are serving your
country by supporting the world’s most
powerful weapon system, then the next
day you may be serving your country
in one of the world’s most dangerous
places.
This is the Air Force I want to
proudly represent while wearing the
new ABU. Even the name symbolizes
our changing roles and missions as
Airmen warriors.
Our fight is where our country needs
us: Either on the snow-covered, windswept
plains of Wyoming, Colorado,
Nebraska, North Dakota or Montana,
or the improvised explosive device
laden roads of Iraq or Afghanistan.
And where our young Air Force men
and women are, the ABU is the uniform
they will be wearing into battle. As I
continue to serve until my retirement, I
can think of no better way to honor the
service, sacrifice and dedication of our
Airmen fighting the war on terrorism
than proudly wearing the new ABU.
Medics merit praise after
‘STAR’ performance
“The combination of three activeduty
and four ANG units, as well as
AFSOC and our British coalition partners,
all executing daily combat missions
in support of CENTCOM, had
grown beyond the appropriate scope
of the original mandate,” said Colonel
Chambliss. “Our Air Force leadership
concluded that an expeditionary wing
structure was needed to control these
missions, synchronize efforts, and be
responsible to the 9 Air Expeditionary
resulting in the deployment of more
than 60 medical personnel as well as
preparing 52 more who are scheduled
to leave this September.
The medical readiness Airmen did
this while three individuals from the
office were out on temporary duty assignments
leaving the rest of the team
to pick up the brunt of the work.
“It took a lot of dedication and
job done,” said Maj. Sarah Cuciti,
99th MDG, medical readiness flight
Task Force commander.”
The wing’s maintenance operations
and organization will also be affected
by the designation said Colonel Chambliss.
“There had never been a provision
for command and control of Continental
United States maintenance
support,” said Colonel Chambliss.
“While some maintainers have been
deploying forward as attached expeditionary
units that support launching
and recovering MQ-1 and MQ-9
combat missions, many more remain
service before self and excellent teamwork
allowed the flexibility needed
to take care of our customers. I am
very pound to have all of them on my
team.”
More than 100 weapons runs were
completed and the Airmen coordinated
and tracked all required training
for the deploying personnel.
MQ-9 Reaper . . .
drops first GPS-guided weapon
By Laura McGowan
88th Air Base Wing Public Affairs
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR
FORCE BASE, Ohio (AFPN) – A
test team with the 658th Aeronautical
Systems Squadron completed the
first Global Positioning System guided
weapons release from an MQ-9 Reaper
May 13 at the Naval Air Warfare
Center Weapons Division at China
Lake, Calif.
The efforts of the pilots, sensor operators,
maintainers, weapons troops
and testers culminated in six successful
guided bomb unit-49 weapon
releases in one day.
The first two drops were inert
weapons to ensure the GBU-49’s GPS
guidance was working properly. The
final release employed four weapons at
one time, also known as a ripple, with
three weapons on GPS guidance and
the fourth weapon guided by laser.
The three GPS weapons “shacked” (a
successful, direct hit on a ground target)
their targets and the laser-guided
weapon came very close.
The GBU-49 is a laser-guided,
500-pound bomb much like the
GBU-12, but it also includes an
on-board GPS kit. The GBU-49 provides
the warfighter an all-weather
capability to employ a munition
with precision without the aid of a
laser designator.
Aggressors help hone fighter
pilot skills during Maple Flag
COLD LAKE, Alberta, Canada (AFPN) — Fighter
pilots from seven different countries, including Nellis
AFB crews from the United States, participated in Maple
Flag 41 May 5-16 and May 19-30 at Cold Lake in Alberta,
Canada.
“Ask any U.S. fighter pilot and he’ll tell you the best part
about flying there is the unrestricted air space,” said Maj.
Derrick Johnson, Maple Flag project officer from Nellis
Air Force Base, Nev.
Roughly 3,000 servicemembers participated in this
year’s exercise, according to the 4 Wing Public Affairs.
The exercise is divided into two periods;
“Four Wing Cold Lake was proud to host Exercise
Maple Flag 41, one of the largest coalition exercises in the
world,” said Capt. John Pulchny, 4 Wing public affairs
officer. “With its vast and unrestricted air space and its
cutting-edge technology and training assets, the wing is
a leading center for coalition training.”
Four Wing is Canada’s largest fighter wing. Its mission is
to train, deploy and support tactical fighter forces to meet
Canada’s defense and security requirements -- domestically,
continentally and internationally.
Maple Flag nearly mirrors Red Flag training at Nellis
AFB. One of Red Flag’s aggressor units is participating in
this year’s Maple Flag.
“From the 64th Aggressor Squadron flying the F-16
Fighting Falcon to the 65th Aggressor Squadron flying
the F-15 Eagles— that aggressor forces provide a huge
training opportunity for Maple Flag participants,” Major
Johnson said.
This year’s participants include forces from the United
States, Canada, Germany, France, Netherlands, New
Zealand and the Republic of Singapore.
The Blue Force, or “good guys,” control the pace of
the training based on its training objectives. The aggres-
sors’ job is to match that level of difficulty, and its Major
Johnson’s mission to ensure both sides are on the same
wavelength. In other words, if one were to put a numerical
value on the difficulty of a certain flying scenario, say
a rating of four for the Blue team, then the major ensures
the threat level presented by the aggressors is also a four, as
is the surface-to-air missile threat. All must be equal.
“The difficulty level for fighter pilots increases each
day,” Major Johnson said. “We usually start with a very
vanilla-type of threat. But as the exercise progresses, we try
to make the complexity more difficult, based on training
objectives. By the time the last training day rolls around,
each pilot will see a much more robust threat, from the
air and the ground. “
And, it’s not just the fighter pilots who receive all the
training.
“This is my second Maple Flag, the first being with the
27th Fighter Wing from Cannon Air Force Base in 2006,”
said Maj. Michael Shetler, 33rd Maintenance Operation
Squadron commander at Eglin AFB, Fla. “How we do
the job is the same at home or deployed. Exercises like
Maple Flag teach our maintainers how to pack-up and
deploy and how to work with other military services and
host nations.”
Taking part in the exercise are F-15s Eagles from Eglin
AFB, an E-3 Sentry from the 965th Airborne Air Control
Squadron, Tinker AFB, Okla.; eight F-16s from the 64th
Aggressor Squadron from Nellis, and three EA-6B Prowlers
from VAQ-137 Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island,
Wash.
“Exercises, like Maple Flag, Red Flag Alaska and Red
Flag Nellis, allow us to train like we fight today; as coalition
partners. The training and relationships developed during
exercises like this lay the foundation for future interoperability
during the real deal,” said Col. Jeff Gustafson, 33rd
Fighter Wing vice commander from Eglin AFB.
(Orville F. Desjarlais Jr., Air Force News Agency, contributed
Global wing organization bridge course to stand up in June
Staff Sgt. Travis Edwards
Nellis AFB Public Affairs
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.
— The U.S. Air Force Advanced Maintenance
and Munitions Officer School and
the U.S. Air Force Weapons School here
teamed up to produce a two-day course
on “Mission Generation” for the organizations
moving toward the new global
wing organizational construct, with
classes scheduled to begin mid-June.
The finalization process included Air
Force Director of Maintenance, Maj.
Gen. Robert McMahon, who was there
to ensure the class created assists in a
smooth transition to the global wing
organization.
This organizational concept will
restructure current flying and maintenance
squadrons into one consolidated
squadron, where both functions will
work and deploy as one unit.
“This will create fully capable mission
ready Airmen,” said General McMahon.
“By putting these two specialties
together as one, we create a relationship
of trust between the maintenance
field and flyers before they move out on
deployments.”
He added this concept will increase
the combat effectiveness of both groups
because each specialty will have a better
understanding of the other.
“We need to arm our operators and
logistics leaders with an understanding
and appreciation of mission generation
tactics, techniques and procedures that
will prepare them for the new challenges
they will face,” said Lt. Gen. Kevin Sullivan,
Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff
of Installations. He added the Airmen
need to be prepared to operate in a truly
integrated flying squadron.
In March, General McMahon, with
marching orders from Air Force Chief
of Staff, Gen. T. Michael Moseley, requested
wing-level organizations to
come up with a two-day course using
local AMMOS and USAFWS graduates
to instruct a bridge course.
“This is a tremendously important
effort,” said General McMahon. “We
want to get it right the first time.”
The course will focus on mission generation
aspects like aircraft fleet health,
scheduling and mission production.
“The two-day course will create an
excellent opportunity for operators and
maintainers to strengthen their lines of
communication and promote common
understanding of the overall mission,”
said Lt. Col. Jeff Decker, the AMMOS
commandant.
The end result, he said, was a smooth
transition to the global wing structure,
ensuring the specialists don’t go into the
change cold.
Course Validation Conference held here May 20, 2008. AMMOS and the USAFWS teamed up
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE,
For years he suffered debilitating
but they were unable to get blood
crovascular surgery, for the next
steps in his rehabilitation.
One of Dr. Schmalbach’s first steps
in repairing Sergeant Saffron’s jaw
was to have a model created of how
his jaw should look. She turned to
Wilford Hall’s stereolithography lab
for this.
The lab staff has helped doctors
care for patients who have been
disfigured by trauma, cancer and
congenital anomalies since 1996.
The lab’s technicians first used
images from CT scans to create a 3-D
graphic. They then used 3-D sculpting
tools and advanced modeling
techniques to produce a mirror image
the patient’s mandible and created
a corrected anatomical jaw. A computer-guided
laser used the graphic to
create an epoxy photopolymer resin
model of how his jaw should look.
“I was able to bend a titanium plate
that matched exactly where his old
bone was,” Dr. Schmalbach said. “I
was able to hold a model and look at
a film, then look at Sergeant Saffron
and try to piece together what was
missing, to better anticipate what I
would need for his surgery.”
With the help of the model created
by the stereolithography lab technicians,
Dr. Schmalbach was able to
successfully use a bone, artery and
vein from Sergeant Saffron’s leg to
repair his jaw. He still has a way to go
on his road to recovery but he is able
to eat, swallow and talk again.
“There is no question in my mind
that I could not have achieved the
quality of reconstruction and returning
this patient to normal occlusion
without the aid of the stereolithography
models,” said Dr. Schmalbach.
Nellis and Creech Airmen
reach out to homeless veterans
By Staff Sgt. Aileen Carter
Nellis AFB Public Affairs
5/20/2008 - LAS VEGAS -- The term “homeless veteran”
is not an easy pill for many Airmen to swallow.
It was this phrase that headlined e-mails sent out to
gather volunteers for the Las Vegas Homeless Veterans
U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Aileen Carter
Staff Sgt. Kristine Kays, 99th Medical Operations Squadron
magnetic resonance imaging technologist at Nellis Air
Force Base, Nev., serves food to homeless veterans during
the Las Vegas Homeless Veterans Stand Down, Thursday,
May 15, 2008. More than 380 veterans were served hot
meals during the two day stand down event.
Stand Down, which took place May 14-15 close to Nellis
AFB, Nev.
More than 175 volunteers from Nellis and Creech Air
Force bases responded to the two-day event, said Master
Sgt. Clarence Johnson, 57th Aircraft Maintenance
Squadron first sergeant at Nellis.
Sergeant Johnson said he has served as the Nellis
liaison on the stand down planning committee for three
years, where he recruited, organized and obtained approval
for Nellis and Creech Airmen to participate.
Nellis volunteers accounted for half of the total
volunteers for this event, said Ms. Shalimar Cabrera,
U.S. Vets Las Vegas site director. U.S. Vets is a nonprofit
organization that hosts the Las Vegas Homeless
Veterans Stand Down.
“In a nutshell, we couldn’t do it without Nellis Airmen,”
Ms. Cabrera said. “They’re so great because they
can take on any task.”
Since the first stand down started in 1988 by a group
of Vietnam Veterans wanting to help other vets, the
event has emerged nationwide as an extension of the
many programs offered by the Department of Veterans
Affairs.
The annual stand downs may last anywhere from one
to three days, providing services such as housing assistance,
haircuts, showers, clothing, medical and dental
services, warrant assistance, hot meals, employment
assistance, family support and legal assistance.
For some Nellis volunteers, participation in the stand
down meant giving back to the community.
“It just means a lot for me to help other people,”
said Staff Sgt. Christine Franchi, 99th Comptroller
Squadron customer service supervisor at Nellis. “I saw
the homeless veterans were in need of help and wanted
30 servicemembers become citizens
By Master Sgt. Chris Miller
Air Force National Civic Outreach Office
CHICAGO (AFPN) -- Thirty military members
from 14 countries took the oath of citizenship and
officially became U.S. citizens in a ceremony at the
Pritzker Military Library in Chicago May 23. Brig.
Gen. Darren McDew, director of public affairs, Office
of the Secretary of the Air Force, was the keynote
speaker at the event.
The 14 countries represented were Haiti, Philippines,
Mexico, Uzbekistan, Poland, Ethiopia,
Guyana, Trinidad Tobago, Guatemala, Peoples
Republic of China, Romania, Russia, Ecuador and
South Korea.
“I was honored to participate in an event like this,”
General McDew said. “I witnessed 30 true American
heroes make a choice to become American citizens.
Events like this and connecting with Soldiers, Sailors,
Marines and Airmen of their caliber are reasons
I continue to serve.”
One of the 30 new citizens, and the only Air Force
member, was Senior Airman Katherine Collantes, a
Reservist assigned to the 434th Air Refueling Wing,
Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind. Airman Collantes,
from the Philippines, joined the Air Force in 2004.
Since the beginning of the war on terror in
September 2001, more than 39,000 members of
the armed forces have become naturalized citizens
through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services.
The Honorable Matthew Kennelly, District Court
Judge, administered the Oath of Allegiance and
then spoke about how, as military members, they
have already done their part as citizens by serving
their country.
Another speaker was Ruth Dorochoff, district
director of USCIS, who said citizenship is not a
simple benefit.
“The Certificate of Naturalization is not a handout,”
she said. “American citizenship is an invaluable
distinction that involves more than stamped
paperwork and a printed document. It is a lifelong
journey that begins with the first step an immigrant
takes on American soil.”
“This was an awesome experience,” said Airman
Collantes. “I have a great sense of pride and
accomplishment. It took the better part of a year to
get all my paperwork complete, but this is such a
great feeling.”
to volunteer.”
Sergeant Franchi volunteered May 14, where she
cooked and served more than 400 hamburgers and
300 hot dogs.
“These people did so much for our country, and
they’ve got nothing living on the streets,” said Senior
Airman Joseph Burnell, 99th Security Support Squadron
response force leader. “We have these small programs
out there, and I’m more than obligated to join
to try to help them out.”
Airman Burnell said he enjoyed volunteering at the
stand down so much, he extended his assigned shift to
cover two shifts as a courtesy patrolman at the stand
down May 14.
Although some of the Airmen were surprised that
veterans are in a homeless situation--Airman Burnell
was not.
“I’ve seen so many people get out [of the military]
empty handed, no education. Who knows twenty years
from now, they might end up the same way. It’s a scary
thought,” Airman Burnell added.
But the veterans they were helping were nevertheless,
in good spirits.
“I’ve talked to quite a few of them--very interesting
stories,” said Airman Burnell. “For their situation, a lot
of them seemed very high-spirited. They actually still
enjoy life no matter what. It felt great.”
The Nellis and Creech Airmen helped 388 veterans
during the two-day event. Thirty-nine veterans
were placed in housing, 51 warrant checks were
performed, 116 vets received medical care, 42 vets
received dental care, 30 veterans took advantage of
free HIV testing and 130 haircuts were given May
14 alone.
BULLSEYE
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — The summer
season is upon us, and brings with it
sunny days, family vacations and barbecues
with friends. Unfortunately, though,
the season also brings increased risks
and opportunities for reckless behavior
from which none of us are immune. By
focusing on safety, however, mishaps and
fatalities can be avoided. Airmen should
be aware of the risks and consequences
associated with dangerous behavior as we
enter the 101 Critical Days of Summer.
Just as we’ve done every year with
this annual safety campaign (which
began May 23 and runs through Sept.
2), Airmen are encouraged to evaluate
their behavior and be good Wingmen to
one another. Understanding high-risk
behavior and taking steps to reduce the
chances of mishaps, injuries and fatalities
saves lives. Sadly, we lost 19 Airmen
last summer, two more than the previous
year. The majority of those losses
were from vehicle mishaps—eight were
in four-wheel vehicles and seven were
in motorcycle mishaps. Incidentally,
the factors involved in these mishaps
included speeding, alcohol and not us-
ing seat belts—all risks that are easily
correctable.
Now that warmer weather is here,
keep the following points in mind while
planning your activities:
- Risk management is a tool to assist us
in fighting these summer hazards. It can
be done on the fly, anywhere, anytime, by
anyone. Simply ask yourself: What am I
doing? What can go wrong? Could I hurt
myself or others? What actions can I take
to reduce or eliminate danger?
- Be a good Wingman. This involves
watching each others’ backs to prevent
injury or loss of life. A good Wingman
will recognize risky behavior and have
the courage to speak up.
- Make safety a habit. Wear seatbelts in
cars and required protective equipment
on motorcycles. Remain alert while at the
wheel and plan rest breaks at frequent
intervals. Don’t speed – it is better to arrive
late than not arrive at all. Don’t drink
and drive. Anticipate the unexpected and
be ready to react.
Enjoy your summer season; use the
tools available to ensure you and your
Wingman survive it.
products, all with minimal effectiveness
and disappointing results. I became
associated with East Park Research about
2 years ago, and all I can say, without
any reservations whatsoever is,......
”d-Lenolate© works!”. Through personal
experience, working with their research
organizations, and their customers, all I
can say is ..........”d-Lenolate© works”.
(While fighting a virulent case of “Staph,”
and a massively increased level of Candida,
and finding nothing that would help
me, d-Lenolate© eliminated the Staph,
and dramatically reduced my Candida
levels)..........d-Lenolate© works! Try It!
Safety Center site . . .
has something for every Airman
By John Cochran
Air Force Safety Center
KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M.
(AFPN) — You don’t have to be a safety
professional to benefit from the products
and services of the Air Force Safety Center.
Commanders and Airmen in every career
field have something to gain by checking
out the material on the Safety Center’s
Web site.
That’s the message senior officials here
want Airmen everywhere to know.
“Safety is vital in the lives of all Airmen,
and we have resources that can help everyone
in the Air Force,” said Bud Redmond,
Air Force deputy chief of safety and executive
director of the Safety Center.
“In addition to material that supports
the safety pros out in the field, such as statistical
data on mishaps, trend analysis and
year-to-date summaries of fatalities and
injuries, we’ve posted a collection of tools
that will help commanders and supervisors
at all levels meet the challenges of keeping
their people safe while accomplishing the
mission. Just about any safety information
that anyone would want to know is available
on our Web site,” Mr. Redmond said
The site has a video on driving safety
featuring a NASCAR driver; current and
back issues of Flying Safety Magazine,
Wingman and Weapons Journal; downloadable
safety posters; public service announcements;
a list of available training
courses; and more.
“With warmer weather fast approaching,
our people will be traveling and spending
more time outdoors,” said Mr. Redmond.
“That’s why the Air Force runs the ‘101
Critical Days of Summer’ safety campaign
each year, to raise awareness and help
people prepare for and take part in their
activities with an eye toward safety.”
The Safety Center has an online section
dedicated to the ‘101 Days’ campaign.
“We encourage all Airmen to visit our
site and review what’s there,” Mr. Redmond
said. “If you’re looking for something and
don’t see it, send an e-mail or call one of
the phone numbers listed and talk it over
with our staff experts. Most likely, we’ll be
able to fulfill your request. If you need the
information, chances are good that others
are seeking it, too, so your request will help
more than just your own organization.
That’s another way for you to be a good
wingman.”
Dot-Mil-Docs
to Discuss CAP on BlogTalkRadio
FALLS CHURCH, Va. – The
Military Health System’s (MHS) Internet
The topic this week is the Computer/Electronic
Accommodations
Program (CAP). CAP Director
Dinah Cohen will talk about how
the program has helped over 60,000
workers with cognitive, vision,
hearing or dexterity disabilities.
Launched in 1990, CAP makes information
more accessible to federal
workers, wounded warriors, and
other service members with disabilities
and removes roadblocks to
‘Did You Know?’
Airmen must apply for retirement online through Virtual Military Personnel Flight? The requested date of retirement
must be 120 days out plus permissive temporary-duty days to include the number of requested terminal leave days.
And…
Electing the seven-day option in lieu of a permanent change of station assignment does not automatically project your
separation or retirement? Airmen must also apply for separation or retirement through the Virtual Military Personnel
Flight in addition to signing the assignment notification indicating a seven-day option intention.
And…
Airmen who do not return assignment notifications within seven days, the assignment and the active duty service
commitment are considered accepted.
VA Loans are by far the ABSOLUTE BEST
purchase loans around!
With over 24,000 homes on the market in the Las Vegas area
NOW is the time to buy!
VA Loans are available to veterans of military service and active
duty and reservists. Your eligibility for a VA loan depends on
your length of service and your discharge status. You can apply
for a VA loan if you’re active duty, retired, or even a reservist.
This loan allows for 100% financing of the purchase price of
the home and does not require any monthly mortgage insurance,
a common requirement of most loans. 100% financing simply
means you do NOT HAVE TO PUT ANY MONEY DOWN.
• Dept. of Veterans Affairs has NO CREDIT or FICO score
requirements
• Low, Fixed interest rates
• NO MONTHLY Mortgage Insurance
• Debt-to-income Ratios may be able to go a high as 70%
• Your loan is guaranteed by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs!
My name is Tommy Leigh. I’m a Broker at the Prime Financial
Group, INC. and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
