Pride in performance and success We truly believe that people make the difference. The performance potential of our employees is the key success factor – their knowledge and experience, their creativity and innovative drive, their fl exibility and agility, their motivation and the commitment to creating values and meeting the challenges of the future. The interplay between the demands a company places on its employees and the support it gives them, between inspiration and shared identity, makes Eckes-Granini a successful company and an attractive employer. Pride in performance and success leads to heightened productiveness and effi ciency in the work process. We want to move forward, rather than stand still, and thus we regard it as the company’s obligation to do everything in its power to enable employees to develop and apply their full potential. Modern health management involves a holistic approach to health, well-being and the capacity to perform, and applies it to the context of the workplace. It is also important to promote heightened health-consciousness among employees and enable them to deal with a constantly changing working environment. Taking employee responsibility seriously Responsibility for performance and the quality of life and work is an important aspect of corporate culture. That is why the Health Management project was established as a transnational, long-term programme. Employees are actively and constructively involved. The fi rst step will be to conduct an anonymous employee survey in cooperation with a university that plays a leading role in research in this fi eld in order to assess the workplace environment and develop a complete picture of the current situation within the organization as a whole. On the basis of these fi ndings, effective measures can then be developed and implemented on a systematic, country-by-country basis. There is much that can be said about the culture and the people in a business enterprise. An authentic picture is conveyed, however, only if the employees themselves are allowed to express their views. On the following pages, colleagues from different national organizations, departments and positions, people who have served the company for many years and are well acquainted with it, and people who have just recently joined the Eckes-Granini Group offer their impressions.
