22 People at Eckes-Granini But what is it that really makes Eckes-Granini different? Heinrich Prinz Reuss: I think it’s our diversity. We have Spanish colleagues, we have Finnish colleagues. If you can see how your colleagues in another country approach a problem you face, then you have the chance to learn from them, to act in a different way than you would if you hadn’t been exposed to the idea. Jarek Kluszczynski: One word expresses it well: entrepreneur. People think about the company as if it were their own. Pascal Philipp: The structure of the company allows people to try new things. If you see something that can be changed for the better, you can offer your suggestion. At the end of the day, you may have some discussion about it, but basically you have the chance to present your ideas. What does “People make the difference” mean to you? Pascal Philipp: People are solution-oriented. They don’t waste time looking around for someone to blame if something goes wrong. Sabine Vorberg: For me, “People make the difference” means we open up fresh dimensions together, as it is written in the Purpose. This doesn’t just describe our approach to projects but how we work together, how we cooperate. The focus is on the “together”. We involve our people and are open to new ideas and ways of doing things. The company is made up of many brands and identities, but it all comes together in one company in which people think internationally. In other words, our hearts are local, and our souls are international.
