What are other reasons why you enjoy
working for Eckes-Granini?
Sabine Vorberg: We have a lot of freedom and
space we can fi ll at Eckes-Granini. At one of my
former companies, I got a thick book of rules and
regulations on my fi rst day. Here at Eckes-Granini,
you’re likely to get a long list of partners to talk
to. The career paths inside the company are very
individual. You can develop from one department
to another, and employees always have a chance to
bring their own ideas to the table. We have a fl at
hierarchy and our CEO also keeps an open door.
You are all talking about what makes Eckes-
Granini different. Any more observations?
Sabine Holtkamp: Being a family-owned company
is a big advantage. We are able to plan for the
long-term and we have very good managers with
a lot of experience, just like the big companies. But
we also have fl at hierarchies, we give responsibility
to our managers and we are good at taking quick
decisions.
Heinrich Prinz Reuss: People are very down to
earth, very pragmatic. They are very honest and
very normal. In other companies, there’s a clear
hierarchy and you have to ask someone for permission
before you can, let’s say, open a door.
At Eckes-Granini, you just open the door.
Jarek Kluszczynski: We’re a very cooperative and
team-oriented company. The diversity in the company
comes together nicely. We all feel that we are part
of something bigger. You also have opportunities
to meet with your colleagues in an informal way. I
wouldn’t say that at Eckes-Granini you have to get
together with your colleagues outside of work, but
you can.
