Meeting abstracts as printed in this book will
be published by Springer in an electronic supplementary
issue of CVIR, the official CIRSE
journal, and are therefore citable publications.
We strongly encourage submission of the
complete manuscript of any oral or poster
presentation for publication in the journal,
preferably in an electronic version through its
website
(http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cvr). Please
note that submissions have to comply with
the "Guidelines of Authors" specified in every
issue of CVIR.
Main Programme & Abstract Book
A copy of the "Main Programme & Abstract
Book" is provided in every congress bag. The
bags are handed out at the congress check-in.
Additional copies can be purchased at the registration
desk at a rate of Euro 40.00 per book.
EPOS TM
EPOS TM is a pioneering system for an all-electronic
scientific exhibition. The state-of-the-art
database, which was developed by the
European Congress of Radiology and generously
made available to CIRSE, currently comprises
more than 4,250 electronic presentations.
EPOS TM offers much greater flexibility than traditional
scientific exhibits and provides better
options for scientific communication. The possibilities
to use moving images, link to related
websites, quickly search the entire scientific
exhibition for specific topics in minute detail,
e-mail entire exhibits and access EPOS TM from
any computer connected to the internet are
just some of its many advantages.
The EPOS TM area is located on the first floor. 30
computers will be available to view approximately
260 electronic exhibits.

Onsite EPOS TM staff will be glad to assist you

CME Credit Allowance
General Information
CIRSE 2006 is accredited by the European
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education (EACCME) to provide the following
CME activity for medical specialists. The EAC-
CME is an institution of the European Union of
Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
CIRSE 2006 is designated for up to 27 hours of
European external CME credits. Each medical
specialist should claim only those hours of
credit that he/she actually spent in the educational
activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the
American Medical Association towards the
Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert
EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1
credit, contact the AMA.
The CME-ICAP has granted 24 credit/hours to
the congress.
Certificate of Attendance
To obtain your certificate of attendance,
please choose one of the following options:
Printing your certificate on site at the congress:
You can print your certificate at the dedicated
workstations in the Cyber Café. All you have to
do is give your last name and the login details
you were given after registering for the congress.
Printing your certificate at home:
After the congress you will have the possibility
to print your certificate on our website
(www.cirse.org). Again, all you will have to do
is give your last name and login details in
order to receive the certificate.
