Everyone is called to be a servant to their neighbors.
That could be as practical as giving someone a bag of
groceries or as compassionate as offering a listening
ear and a warm smile during a time of need.
For 140 years, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has
been a servant to Greater Cincinnati’s needy families.
Answering Christ’s call, we foster hope by providing
spiritual, emotional and material assistance on a
person-to-person basis to the poor, lonely and forgotten
in our community,
regardless of race or
religious affiliation.
With hundreds of
volunteers logging
over 68,000 hours
of service, we per-
sonally connect with those in need throughout our
neighborhoods in Greater Cincinnati and Hamilton
County. Together, we bring hope home.
In 2008, the Cincinnati Council of
St. Vincent de Paul was blessed to receive
the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award
recognizing workplace ethics.
