K New “S” Series The popular end plate system has a new design, produced from a new aluminium alloy that is heat treated to ensure even greater strength and provide a bright polished appearance. The diagonal chords have been re-configured and their diameter changed to improve the aesthetic appearance and increase the overall strength of the truss. The new “S” series trusses still employ the same dual connection systems of bolt kits or Fast connection kits as the existing range, to ensure full compatibility between the <strong>line</strong>s. The two systems maybe used as alternatives to each other, but if the structures are to be used near their limits, we recommend using the quick-fit system. The bolt connection has lower loading capacity than shown in our reference tables. Das populäre Endplatten-System kommt im veränderten Design. Als Material dient eine neue Aluminiumlegierung, die dank Wärmebehandlung noch stabiler ist und mit ihrem Hochglanzlook einfach klasse aussieht. Die Diagonalstreben wurden neu gestaltet und im Durchmesser angepasst, um das ästhetische Erscheinungsbild der Traverse aufzuwerten und ihre Gesamtbelastbarkeit zu erhöhen. Die Traversen der neuen ’S’-Serie verwenden das gleiche Doppelverbinder-Prinzip mit Schraub- oder Fast Connection- Kits wie die Vorgängerserie, damit die volle Kompatibilität zwischen beiden Serien erhalten bleibt. Die beiden Systeme können alternativ verwendet werden; falls die Aufbauten nahe ihrer Belastbarkeitsgrenze betrieben werden sollen, empfehlen wir jedoch den Einsatz des Quick-fit- Systems. The connection systems are available in kits which consist of enough parts to join two trusses together. Connection Systems The possibility to choose between two different connection systems is more important than it may seem. The quick-fit system is certainly the most widespread and mainly used when the structure is frequently assembled and dismantled. In the case of permanent installations, on the other hand, a more economical bolt connection system may be used. Our plate is made in such a way that the bolts may be completely inserted so that there are no edges or external protuberances which could damage canvases or other fabrics. Furthermore, the possibility of using readily available bolts may be an advantage if there is a temporary lack of quick-fit kits due to oversight or loss. Die Möglichkeit, zwischen zwei unterschiedlichen Verbindungssystemen wählen zu können, ist wichtiger, als es zunächst scheinen mag. Das Quick-fit-System ist zweifellos der Renner und wird vorwiegend dort eingesetzt, wo Traversensysteme häufig auf- und abgebaut werden. Bei Festinstallationen findet dagegen ein wirtschaftlicheres Schraubsystem Verwendung. Unsere Endplatte ist so gestaltet, dass die Schrauben vollständig versenkbar sind. Deshalb stören keine scharfen Kanten oder vorstehenden Teile, wodurch Leinwände, Vorhangstoffe usw. beschädigt werden könnten. Darüber hinaus kann die optionale Verwendung handelsüblicher Schrauben ein Vorteil sein, sollten durch Nachlässigkeit oder Verlust mal nicht genügend Quick-fit- Montagekits zur Verfügung stehen.
