Litecad 4.0
Litecad is a CAD in the literal
meaning of the word, i.e. a
computer aided design system,
but it is ultimately different from
all other CADs on the market.

Litecad offers various options for
saving and printing drawings.
In particular it is possible to:
- export in DWG* format;
- save material lists in Excel format;
- save drawings in JPG;
- print exploded views of the
structures designed;
- print 3D drawings;
- print side views;
- print front views;
- print plan views;
- print perspective views;
- print several views on the same
sheet;
- print material lists.
* The drawing may be saved
in DWG only if Autocad ® ,
version 2000 or 2002, is already
installed.

Litecad is a user-friendly design program specifically written for managing Litec products.
Litecad ist eine benutzerfreundliche Designer-Software für die kreative Gestaltung mit Litec-Produkten.
Litecad was conceived to meet the needs of technicians who work in the entertainment business, in
theatres, in TV studios, in trade fairs and everywhere our aluminium trusses are used. With this software,
technicians are quickly able to put together the structure they have in mind and propose it to their
clients. Furthermore, it instantly draws up a list of the components needed, with technical data, such as
weight and space occupied. All this without needing any specialist knowledge of the CAD world.
Litecad wurde speziell entwickelt für Techniker, die in den Bereichen Veranstaltungstechnik, Theater,
Fernsehstudio, Messebau und überall dort arbeiten, wo unsere Alutraversen zum Einsatz kommen.
Mit dieser Software können Anwender schnell und einfach ihre konstruktiven Ideen ausarbeiten und sie
ihren Kunden präsentieren. Zugleich entwirft das Programm eine Stückliste der benötigten Komponenten
mit allen technischen Daten wie Gewicht und Raumbedarf. All das gelingt auch ohne besondere
Vorkenntnisse im CAD-Bereich.
Litecad makes various tools available which generate code numbers and basic lists and create price lists
and graphic labels for packaging. For 3D quotes, it is easy to create complex exploded views which simplify
the assembly work.
Litecad stellt dem Anwender diverse Tools zur Verfügung, die Codenummern und Datenlisten generieren
sowie Preislisten und grafische Verpackungslabels erstellen. Für 3D-Ansichten lassen sich im
Handumdrehen komplexe Explosionszeichnungen erstellen, um den Monteuren die Aufbauarbeit zu erleichtern.
Litecad was written and designed for Windows® and therefore automatically has all its best features
from compatibility upwards. It can import 3SD format drawings and save its creations in Autocad® DWG
format, thus making it possible to integrate libraries provided with other parts available on the net or in
other libraries.
Litecad wurde speziell für Windows® entwickelt, was aufgrund der weiten Verbreitung dieses
Betriebssystems die Lauffähigkeit auf nahezu jedem PC garantiert. Das Programm kann Skizzen im 3SD-
Format importieren und die Ergebnisse als Autocad® DWG-Dateien abspeichern, was eine Integration der
mitgelieferten Bibliotheken mit anderen, im Internet oder in anderen Bibliotheken erhältlichen Teilen
ermöglicht.
