1. Focus future open space developments on trail networks and design<br />

enhancements of existing facilities<br />

2. Consider rezoning Sunnyside Park and Speight St Reserve<br />

Centennial Park, and the bowling club from TZ to PCRZ<br />

3. Encourage future population growth between the former and existing<br />

highway routes to ensure future residents are a walkable distance<br />

from existing recreation and open spaces and that develop<br />

contributions can focus on creating off road trails and the<br />

development of the social /family recreation areas.<br />

4. Protect bushland/treed area beside the school (site 121).<br />

5. Support the development of better pedestrian<br />

connections to the Recreation Reserve from the township<br />

and from the market site to the Recreation Reserve, from<br />

the Recreation Reserve to Hilda Falls, and the railway<br />

track between Loch and Nyora.<br />

6. Support the lawn bowls club to remain viable<br />

7. Consider siting any additional open space or sports<br />

facilities required in the south; adjacent to the bowls club.<br />

8. Support the development of a skate park and the<br />

preparation of a management plan<br />

9. Upgrade support facilities at the Recreation Reserve and<br />

undertake additional planting for shade and amenity
