*35 Exemption from Standing Orders – Floating Support Services<br />
Members considered the report of the Rental Manager requesting exemption from<br />
Standing Orders to enable the service to continue the existing Floating Service<br />
contract until 1 December 2013 for the reasons set out in the report.<br />
RESOLVED that an exemption under Standing Orders 1.11-1.15 be agreed<br />
to enable the continuation of a Floating Support contract until an<br />
assessment can be made of the impact of the Government’s<br />
Welfare Reforms.<br />
REASON<br />
*36 Exclusion of the Public<br />
To maintain the level of service currently provided and to enable<br />
an assessment of the number of future support hours required<br />
due to the changes and the impact of the welfare reforms.<br />
RESOLVED that under Section 100(A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the<br />
public (including the press) be excluded from the meeting as exempt<br />
information, is likely to be disclosed and on balance the public<br />
interest is in discussing the items in private session (Part B).<br />
*37 Exmouth Regeneration Programme Board<br />
Members noted the action points from a meeting of the Programme Board held on 29<br />
May <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
*38 Seaton Regeneration Programme Board<br />
Members noted the action points from a meeting of the Programme Board held on 13<br />
June <strong>2012</strong>. In response to a question about the Tourist Information Centre, Richard<br />
Cohen, Deputy Chief Executive advised that he would investigate and advise<br />
Members on the current position.<br />
*39 Priority Disposal Programme<br />
Members considered the report of the Head of Economy and Principal Estates<br />
Surveyor which provided an up-date on the successful priority disposal programme<br />
and what this had achieved<br />

RESOLVED that the current position of the Priority Disposal Programme be<br />
noted.<br />
