Procedure<br />
Buyers must complete, sign and return the<br />
reservation agreement, <strong>Property</strong> <strong>Frontiers</strong><br />
terms of business and the Independent Legal<br />
Advice form, along with a partly-refundable<br />
reservation deposit of 6% of the purchase price<br />
to reserve your unit.<br />
This information will then be sent to the<br />
developer who will then confirm that they<br />
agree to sell the unit to the buyer.<br />
If choosing the conveyancing lawyer<br />
recommended by <strong>Property</strong> <strong>Frontiers</strong>, the<br />
conveyancing lawyer will get in touch and<br />
instruct the buyer to notarise the Power<br />
of Attorney for the lawyers to obtain CPF<br />
number as well as handle the property buying<br />
procedure on buyer’s behalf<br />

The Purchase Contract will be sent to the buyer<br />
and must be signed (or instruct his lawyer to<br />
sign), notarised and returned within 30 days of<br />
the developer agreeing the purchase. At this<br />
point 24% of the total purchase price will be<br />
payable to the developer. During this 30 day<br />
period, the buyer should:<br />
Obtain credit report;<br />
Provide money laundering regulation<br />
required documents;<br />
review the Purchase Contract, raise<br />
queries on the terms to his lawyer.<br />
A further 20% of the purchase price is to be<br />
paid during construction by 4 instalments of<br />
5% each, to be paid every 6 months starting on<br />
1st December 2008.<br />
The final payment of 50% of the purchase<br />
price is to be paid upon completion of the unit<br />
(expected to be August 2010).<br />

It is standard practice in Brazil that the listed sales<br />
price is broken down into the Sales & Marketing fee<br />
and the contract purchase price.<br />
<strong>Property</strong> <strong>Frontiers</strong> and partners will takes their<br />
remuneration out of this 6% sales and marketing<br />
fee.<br />
