KONA SURFING – SPORT <strong>OF</strong> KINGS KOA-041<br />
Approximate Duration: 2 hours Level 2 / Age<br />
Experience the sport of kings. Your adventure begins with a short coastal cruise to Kahalu’u Bay, where your licensed surf instructor awaits<br />
you with state-of-the-art equipment, an explanation of currents, etiquette, and how to stand up in an easygoing atmosphere. Then your<br />
personal Hawai‘ian waterman will ease you into the ride of your life. Only a surfer knows “the feeling”.<br />
Note: Participants must be at least 4 years of age, a good swimmer and in good physical condition. Wear a swimsuit and sunscreen as well as sunglasses that<br />
cannot fall off. Bring a towel. Tour operates weather permitting.<br />
OUTRIGGER CANOE RIDES KOA-042<br />

Join us at Kamakahonu, the capital of the Hawai‘ian Kingdom for an adventure into Hawai‘i’s past. Your journey will begin in the cool,<br />
shady “hale” (or house) on the beach overlooking the 1,200-year-old temple, Ahuena. After a short orientation and safety briefing, you<br />
will be welcomed onboard an authentic Hawai‘ian outrigger canoe for breathtaking views, myths, legends and facts of our kings, queens<br />
and gods. Upon your return, enjoy your choice of fresh island fruit, awa or juice. Experience Kona like royalty did years ago.<br />
KONA BOAT SNUBA KOA-020<br />
Approximate Duration: 3 hours Level 1 / Age Restrictions<br />
Here’s an easy, safe introduction to diving and Hawai‘i’s underwater world. Board the new custom-built dive vessel, where your Snuba<br />
guide will fit you with your gear, followed by a 15-minute orientation and surface practice session. The dive proceeds at your own pace<br />
and your Snuba guide accompanies you throughout the whole experience. There are many beautiful dive sites to choose from offering a<br />
great variety of tropical fish, turtles and other marine life.<br />
Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Wear a swimsuit under light clothing and bring a towel. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are<br />
recommended. THIS TOUR IS NON-REFUNDABLE.<br />
KONA BEACH SNUBA KOA-022<br />
Approximate Duration: 1 1/2 hours Level 1/ Age Restrictions<br />
Discover a beautiful reef with a great variety of tropical fish, turtles and other marine life on this easy introduction to diving and Hawai‘i’s<br />
underwater world. Upon arrival at the beach, your Snuba guide will outfit you with all your gear, followed by a 15-minute orientation, then a<br />
practice session in the shallow water lagoon prior to paddling to the shoreline reef. The dive proceeds at your own pace and your<br />
experienced guide accompanies you throughout the entire experience. This is a great introduction to the underwater world!<br />

DISCOVER SCUBA – BEGINNER KOA-023<br />
Approximate Duration 2 hours Level 2 / Age Restrictions<br />
Discover Scuba is easy, fun and exciting. Join your PADI Scuba instructors for a 30-minute lesson about the basics of Scuba to familiarize<br />
yourself with this new environment. This is followed by a session in the shallow-water lagoon to practice the skills you just learned and to<br />
become more comfortable with your equipment prior to paddling to the shoreline reef. The dive proceeds at the participants’ pace and<br />
your instructor is with you throughout the whole experience. This is a very safe and easy introduction to diving and Hawai‘i’s underwater<br />
world. Swim past colorful reef fish, turtles and beautiful corals. Don’t miss this opportunity, its like leaving one world and entering another!<br />
Note: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and in good health. Maximum depth is 40 feet. All gear is included. This is not a certification program.<br />
