PRIDE OF AMERICA SHORE EXCURSIONS
POIPU BAY GOLF COURSE NWK-035
Approximate Duration: 6 hours
Even the most focused golfer will be challenged by breathtaking views from each and every hole at Poipu Bay. The course is backed by lush
emerald mountains and sculpted from a rolling plateau eight stories above the expansive blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Nestled among
the gentle contours of Poipu Bay you’ll discover the remains of Hawai‘i’s heiau (temples) and ancient stonewalls. If this weren’t challenge
enough, the nature of Poipu Bay presents you with one distraction after another…from native Nene geese and rare Hawai‘ian monk seals to
green sea turtles and humpback whales. You’ll have lots of excuses to back your scorecard. Then, of course, there’s the view!
PRINCEVILLE RESORT NWK-036
Approximate Duration: 6 1/2 hours
Golf Digest has named The Prince course the number one golf course in the State of Hawai‘i. It is also included in their prestigious list of
‘America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses’. The Prince is one of Hawai‘i’s most challenging golf courses, with a USGA course rating of 75.3 and
a 145 slope. But fear not. Five different tees on each hole allow you to set your own challenge. Named after Price Albert, the only son of
King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, The Prince course is Robert Trent Jones Jr.’s masterpiece. Looking as if it had emerged full-blown
from nature, it chugs uphill, jumps ravines and carrens downhill like a roller-coaster. To golf here is an experience few will ever forget.
- KAUA‘I SUNSET & EVENING TOURS -
KALAPAKI SUNSET SAIL NWK-029
Approximate Duration: 2 hours
Join us on an evening sail along the Kalapaki and Kipu Kai region of Kaua‘i. Enjoy the majestic view of the Kipu Kai coastline as you
travel aboard the 42-foot sailing trimaran Rainbow Runner. Your professional, experienced and fun crew will share their local knowledge
and hospitality as you enjoy a full assortment of pupus (appetizers), beer and wine, soda, juice and water. This tour specializes in smaller
groups for your comfort and enjoyment. Unlike many others, we attempt to sail as much as possible, provided there is sufficient wind,
instead of motoring, adding to the experience.
Note: We recommend you bring a light windbreaker or sweater and a towel. There is always the possibility of getting wet. As with any boating tours, weather
and ocean conditions will dictate whether the tour will operate.
NA PALI SNORKEL & SUNSET SAIL NWK-030
Approximate Duration: 7 hours Level 1 / Meal / Age
This tour is only available on the Pride of America
Explore Kaua‘i’s spectacular coastline aboard a 55-foot luxury sailing catamaran. Your friendly sea-going Captain and crew will hoist the sails
as you discover the awe-inspiring vistas of Kaua‘i’s majestic Na Pali coast. You’ll see miles of white sand beaches and hillsides checkered with
sugar cane fields. Dolphins and sea turtles are often seen while sailing by pristine waterfalls, splendid valleys, sheer cliffs and remote sea
caves. There will also be whale watching in season. We’ll stop to snorkel at Kaua‘i’s finest reefs. Quality snorkel gear, including masks with
prescription lenses, are provided. Then it’s time for a delicious hot dinner buffet while taking in a breathtaking sunset at sea.
Note: Participants must be at least 2 years of age. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and sunscreen. Dinner includes: fresh seasonal fruit, garden salad
served with papaya seed dressing, ginger sesame marinated tomato, green beans and red onion salad, fresh breadbasket, lime and lemon rice pilaf, teriyaki
chicken topped with diced pineapple, pulehu of beef with sautéed mushrooms and onions in garlic sauce, and pineapple bars. Beer and wine are available
after snorkeling. Na Pali Coast and snorkeling operate conditions permitting. Tour destination will be determined based on ocean conditions.
