If as on this detail, the omega profile is fixed directly to the C-channel, then the base of the omega profile must be as narrow as possible to leave space for the head of the screws. When the windshield panels are minimum 10 mm or when the omega profiles are fixed onto a horizontal zed profile, then the omega can be used in its standard rectangular shape, because then it won’t interfere with the head of the screws.
