WE NEED YOUR HELP!
It is not unusual for head lice to be present in schools. Lice are very common, and anyone can get
them, though they usually affect children. Lice don‟t spread disease, and having head lice is not a sign
of uncleanliness or poor hygiene.
If your child brings home several pink sheets on lice, it means that a child in his/her classroom has lice. We ask
that you read the handouts carefully, and diligently check your child‟s head every day for 2 weeks. The best
chance to control lice is to catch it early and to treat it, before it can continue to spread.
We thank you, in advance, for your cooperation.
