katherine Arcus – apprentice stage manager<br />
Second season: Apprentice stage manager of Three Sisters and<br />
<strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>. Katherine, a graduate of the technical theatre<br />
program at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art<br />
in the U.K., is delighted to return for her second season at the<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> Shakespeare <strong>Festival</strong>. Previous credits include The<br />
Sound of Music (Mirvish), Cinderella: The Sillylicious Family Musical (Ross Petty<br />
Productions), Homebody/Kabul (Berkeley Street Theatre), Romeo and Juliet, Othello,<br />
Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth (Classical Theatre Project), writers’<br />
assistant for the first season of Less Than Kind (CityTV) and production assistant for<br />
the Tom Patterson Theatre’s 2008 season. Katherine would like to thank her family<br />
and friends for their encouragement, love and support.<br />
Quincy Armorer – actor<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> debut: Nightingale in <strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>, Clitus in Julius<br />
Caesar and appears in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Quincy is<br />
honoured to be a member of the 2008 Birmingham Conservatory<br />
for Classical Theatre and to be making his <strong>Stratford</strong> debut. Past<br />
credits include As You Like It, The Merchant of Venice (St. Lawrence<br />
Shakespeare <strong>Festival</strong>); Romeo and Juliet, Condoville, Tiger’s Heart (Centaur<br />
Theatre); Blacks Don’t Bowl, A Common Man’s Guide to Loving Women (Black<br />
Theatre Workshop); The Jungle Book (Geordie Productions); Fame – The<br />
Musical (Grand Theatre, Kingston); Twelfth Night, The Fantasticks (Piggery<br />
Theatre); Hamlet (Beyond the Cubicle); Titus Andronicus, A Midsummer<br />
Night’s Dream, Measure for Measure, Julius Caesar, King Lear, The Taming of the<br />
Shrew (Shakespeare by the Sea); and Romeo and Juliet at the Minack Theatre in<br />
England. He has also worked with Repercussion Theatre and Tricycle Productions<br />
and was associate artistic director of Black Theatre Workshop in Montreal. Quincy<br />
is a graduate of the theatre department at Concordia University.<br />
Dalal badr – actor<br />
Second season: Irina in Three Sisters, Mistress Overdo in<br />
<strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> and Ismène in Phèdre. Originally from Kitimat,<br />
B.C., Dalal is thrilled to be in her second season in the <strong>Stratford</strong><br />
Shakespeare <strong>Festival</strong> acting company. Selected theatre credits:<br />
Rosaline (Love’s Labour’s Lost), Balthazar (Romeo and Juliet), Luxor<br />
(Caesar and Cleopatra) (<strong>Stratford</strong> Shakespeare <strong>Festival</strong>); Charmian/Menas, Antony<br />
and Cleopatra (Shakespeare in the Rough); Josephine, Tideline (Factory Theatre);<br />
Laila El Rafi, Relative Good (Great Canadian Theatre Company); Venus, Tales from<br />
Ovid (Centaur Theatre). Selected TV/film/radio credits: Z.O.S. (The Movie Network/<br />
Movie Central, HBO Canada), Little Mosque on the Prairie (CBC), Caesar and<br />
Cleopatra (Bravo!, CTV), 72 Hours – True Crimes (CBC, TLC), The Memoirs of Hector<br />
Berlioz (Radio Series). Dalal is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada<br />

sean baek – actor<br />
Third season: Orderly in Three Sisters and Pocher in <strong>Bartholomew</strong><br />
<strong>Fair</strong>. Sean is pleased to be making his debut on the Tom<br />
Patterson stage. Prior to returning, he had a very busy winter<br />
in his hometown, Toronto, working on Bird Brain (adapted by<br />
Vern Thiessen from a German children’s book, LKTYP), Hallaj (a<br />
three-week developmental workshop, Modern Times Stage Co.), Canadian Rep<br />
Theatre (spearheaded by Ken Gass, in association with Factory Theatre), Kissed By<br />
Lightning (an indie feature film) and Sawbones (Canadian Film Centre). Previously<br />
at <strong>Stratford</strong>: Hamlet, The Taming of the Shrew, All’s Well That Ends Well, Coriolanus,<br />
Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing. Having been an actor for 12 years<br />
now, Sean has extensive theatre, film, TV and voice (CBC radio dramas and video<br />
games) credits. Sean is a graduate of York University’s theatre program and was a<br />
member of the 2005 Birmingham Conservatory.<br />

martine beland – assistant stage manager<br />
11th season: Assistant stage manager of <strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> and<br />
Phèdre. <strong>Stratford</strong> credits include production stage manager<br />
(Avon Theatre) 2004-2006, stage manager for the Birmingham<br />
Conservatory for Classical Theatre (2003 and 2005), Fuente Ovejuna,<br />
Pentecost, Don Juan, The Elephant Song/The Human Voice, The<br />
Birds and Quiet in the Land and assistant stage manager for Othello, Richard III,<br />
Henry IV, Part 1, Falstaff, Measure for Measure, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Romeo and Juliet,<br />
Much Ado About Nothing, Carousel and Treasure Island. Over the years Martine has<br />
had the pleasure of working in many theatres, including the Neptune Theatre,<br />
Atlantic Theatre <strong>Festival</strong>, Theatre New Brunswick, Shaw <strong>Festival</strong>, Blyth <strong>Festival</strong>,<br />
Grand Theatre and the Belfry Theatre in Victoria, B.C. As a script supervisor in film,<br />
Martine’s credits include The 4th Floor and Frozen in Fear. In 2006 Martine was a<br />
stage manager for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 15th Asian Games<br />
in Doha, Qatar.<br />
skye brandon – actor<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> debut: Haggis in <strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>, Cinna the poet<br />
in Julius Caesar and appears in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. A<br />
Saskatchewan-born actor/director, Skye has worked throughout<br />
the prairies, including Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg<br />
and Saskatoon, where he received his BFA Honours from the<br />
U of S. Skye also trained at ACT in San Francisco. Acting credits include The<br />
Pillowman, Fat Pig (Wild Side Productions); Henry IV, Part 1, The Tempest, The Taming<br />
of the Shrew (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan); Someone Who’ll Watch Over<br />
Me (Skinny Walrus); Chimera (Prairie Theatre Exchange); The Credeaux Canvas<br />
(Northern Light Theatre); Julius Caesar, The Shape of Things (Theatre Ecstasis);<br />
Twelfth Night (Globe Theatre); Mary’s Wedding (Dancing Sky Theatre); and The<br />
Coronation Voyage, The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios, It’s All True (Last Exit<br />
Theatre). Directing credits include Pageant (Last Exit) and The Busy World is Hushed<br />
(Northern Light).<br />
todd campbell – fight director<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong> debut: Fight director of <strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong> and Zastrozzi.<br />
Todd Campbell is a graduate of the American Musical and<br />
Dramatic Academy (N.Y.C.) and the School of Physical Theatre<br />
(Toronto), where he trained in the Lecoq method of movement<br />
theatre, and is a certified fight director with Fight Directors<br />
Canada. Todd has arranged fights for The Tempest Theatre Group, Theatre in Port,<br />
the Sudbury Theatre Centre, Repercussion Theatre, the American Renaissance<br />
Theatre, Birdland Theatre, Absit Omen Theatre, George Brown University,<br />
Kawartha Lakes Summer Playhouse, Driftwood Theatre, Tribal Productions and<br />
Resurgence Theatre, to name a few. In 2007 Todd produced and directed the<br />
Fringe show Duel of Ages with his production company, True Edge Productions.<br />
Todd teaches stage combat at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts<br />
and Rapier Wit Studios, and is a founding member of the award-winning RIOT<br />
A.C.T. stunt team.<br />
Juan chioran – actor<br />
10th season: Solyony in Three Sisters and Zeal-of-the-Land Busy<br />
in <strong>Bartholomew</strong> <strong>Fair</strong>. <strong>Stratford</strong> credits include The Taming of the<br />
Shrew, All’s Well That Ends Well, Hamlet, As You Like It, A Midsummer<br />
Night’s Dream, Man of La Mancha, The Winter’s Tale, Twelfth Night,<br />
The Mikado, Knight of the Burning Pestle and Timon of Athens.<br />
Other theatre credits include A New Brain (Acting Up Stage); Cymbeline, The Three<br />
Musketeers, Hecuba (Chicago Shakespeare); Private Lives (Theatre Athena); Blithe<br />
Spirit, An Ideal Husband (Citadel); It’s a Wonderful Life, Much Ado About Nothing,<br />
