GENERAL COMMITTEE CHAIRS<br />
Council operates under a General Committee system as well as specific<br />
Standing Committees for Budget and Human Resources.<br />
All members <strong>of</strong> Council are members <strong>of</strong> General Committee.<br />
General Committee operates under two umbrella services with a member<br />
<strong>of</strong> Council responsible for chairing respective components.<br />
The umbrella services and their respective Chairs are as follows:<br />
Corporate Services, Dan Fortier (until May 31, 2013)<br />
Integrated Services, Pat Chiocchio (until November 30, 2013)<br />
General Committee generally meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday <strong>of</strong> each<br />
month at 7:00 p.m., as required.<br />
Vice Mayors<br />
The Vice Mayor is appointed by Council to assist in fulfilling functions <strong>of</strong><br />
the Office <strong>of</strong> the Mayor as delegated by the Mayor. Members <strong>of</strong> Council<br />
are appointed on a rotational schedule periodically throughout the term <strong>of</strong><br />
Council. The current schedule is as follows:<br />
August 1, 2012 to November 30, 2012 – Mary Ann Grimaldi<br />
December 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013 – Bob Wright<br />
April 1, 2013 to July 31, 2013 – Tony DiMarco<br />
August 1, 2013 to November 30, 2013 – Paul Grenier<br />
