GENERAL COMMITTEE CHAIRS Council operates under a General Committee system as well as specific Standing Committees for Budget and Human Resources. All members of Council are members of General Committee. General Committee operates under two umbrella services with a member of Council responsible for chairing respective components. The umbrella services and their respective Chairs are as follows: Corporate Services, Dan Fortier (until May 31, 2013) Integrated Services, Pat Chiocchio (until November 30, 2013) General Committee generally meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., as required. Vice Mayors The Vice Mayor is appointed by Council to assist in fulfilling functions of the Office of the Mayor as delegated by the Mayor. Members of Council are appointed on a rotational schedule periodically throughout the term of Council. The current schedule is as follows: August 1, 2012 to November 30, 2012 – Mary Ann Grimaldi December 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013 – Bob Wright April 1, 2013 to July 31, 2013 – Tony DiMarco August 1, 2013 to November 30, 2013 – Paul Grenier 4
