щоправда, попередньо «випробувавши» її. Директор крамниці<br />
Брюс в скрутному становищі: можливість продати дорогу<br />
річ виглядає спокусливою, але правила кармниці не<br />
дозволяють випробувати товар. Одначе молода пані налаштована<br />
категорично: або її вимогу буде негайно виконано,<br />
або вона кіпить ванну в іншому місці. Директор вагається:<br />

A woman in her 30s, blond and beautiful stands gazing<br />
out at the sea. A man, the studios type, lounges on the<br />
grass, fascinated by her. She is passing him by without<br />
giving a glance to him. In the restaurant he watches how<br />
she nibble a corn. The man notices that she is called<br />
Kirsch. He overhears a sound of vibrator at her nober's<br />
door. He continues to watch her over the next few days.<br />

At a store specializing in fancy baths and bathroom accessories,<br />
the sales stuff is eager but unsuccessful - no one can<br />
afford their prices. They haven't made a sale for ages. Then<br />
one day just before closing time, a customer enters and asks<br />
to see a hot tub, and the manager Bruce rushes to serv her.<br />
The woman is young, attractive, and seems to be able to<br />
afford what she wants - but what she wants is to try the tub<br />
out before buying it. The manager is in a bind - his store<br />
has rules about these things, but the woman is insistent.<br />
She wants to try out the tub or she'll take her business elsewhere.<br />
Bruce reconsiders... the store is already closed... and<br />
woman is very attractive...<br />

Ken Russell was born in 1927 in Southampton, He joined<br />
the NyNorsk as a dancer, then became an actor working<br />
with the Garrick Players, freelance photographer for<br />
«Picture Post» among other periodicals. He began making<br />
films in the fifties then produced television work for the<br />
BBC (especially art programms and portraits of musicians).<br />
In 1963 he made his first feature. Russell's films are<br />
always a source of controversy for critics and public alike.<br />

Bob Rafelson was born in New York City in 1934. He is a<br />
compulsive drifter and a Hollywood maverick. After graduating<br />
from Dartmouth College, he started writing for television,<br />
adapting stage productions for "Play of the Week".<br />
With Bert Schneider and Steve Blauner. he formed BBS<br />
Productions, the company which produced such hits as<br />
Easy Rider and Tile Last Picture Show. Rafelson made his<br />
directorial debut with Head, a rock film featuring the<br />
Monkees.<br />
