ber to succeed me in the high office I have filled through your suffrage for<br />
the last two years, and I am well satisfied that your preference will be judic<br />
iously made, and that the brother of your choice will bring to his aid greater<br />
and more efficient ability than I could command. After which, in the lan<br />
guage of a former Grand Master, " I shall seek the quiet corner and there<br />
rest and muse on what others do, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem." If<br />
in any quarter there shall be a reaping of good fruit from seed that I have<br />
sown, I shall be thankful.<br />
On motion, that part of the Grand Master's Address relating to the New<br />
York difficulties was referred to a committee consisting of Brothers Pickett,<br />
Hobbs, and three others; the remainder of the address was referred to a<br />
committee consisting of Bros. H. G. Reynolds, J. H. Holton and others.<br />
The Grand Master then appointed the following standing committees:<br />
