The Committee on Lodges Under Dispensation made the following re­
The Committee on Returns of Lodges U. D. at the last Grand Annual
Communication of this Grand Lodge, have examined the copies of such re­
turns as have been submitted to them and respectfully report that these re­
turns comprise those of Euclid Lodge, at Naperville; Knoxville Lodge, at
Knoxville; Acacia Lodge, at LaSalle; Naples Lodge, at Naples; Eureka
Lodge, at Camden Mills; Central Lodge, at Springfield; Chester Lodge, at
Chester; Roscoe Lodge, at Roscoe; Mount Nebo Lodge, atCarlinville; Union
Lodge, at Little Fort; Scott Lodge, at Carlyle; Prairie Lodge, at Paris; to
which charters were issued under their respective Nos. of 65, 66, 67, 68, 69,
71, 72, 75, 76, 78 and 79.
The work of Euclid Lodge in general has been correct, but in a few
instances the degrees have been conferred too hastily.
The work of Knoxville Lodge, Union Lodge, Chester Lodge and Central
Lodge has been found correct.
Naples and Roscoe Lodges had worked only under special dispensation.

There were several other charters granted, from whom no returns have
been sent up at this session. Two dispensations were continued, the names
of which your committee do not recollect, all of which is respectfully submitted.

On motion, a vote was taken upon the place for holding the next annual
communication, which resulted in the selection of Shawneetown.
