States. One <strong>of</strong> the students from Quebec, Canada, served as<br />
an instructor to teach French to a group <strong>of</strong> 25 who were<br />
being schooled for missionary work in Quebec. The rest <strong>of</strong><br />
the student body studied the Spanish language. After the<br />
normal term <strong>of</strong> 23 weeks 103 completed the course <strong>of</strong> study<br />
and graduated on Sunday, February 5, 1950. To this lively<br />
animated class Brother Knorr delivered his moving graduation<br />
talk "Qualifications for Service". Diplomas were issued<br />
to 99 <strong>of</strong> the 103 graduates. A pleasant surprise was in store<br />
for this class when on the Saturday night before their<br />
graduation Brother Knorr passed out their foreign assignments.<br />
The 103 graduates were to be sent to 22 countries<br />
outside <strong>of</strong> the United States and that as soon as possible<br />
after the 1950 New York convention!<br />
